• Retain links to original sources and review dates.
• Use locally respectful HIV terminology and identify jurisdiction-specific guidance.
• Review urgent, testing and treatment language with qualified speakers.
• Link every translation to the version of the source page it represents.

Version linking and maintenance

The language control links to the corresponding page whenever possible. Reciprocal hreflang metadata and multilingual sitemap entries identify equivalent pages for search engines. A translation that cannot be updated safely must be clearly dated or withdrawn.
