Commitment at a glance
Ethical statement adopted 18 August 2026
People before metrics
- No fear-based engagement tactics or sensational claims.
- No collection of health status, sexual history or exposure details.
- No ranking of communities by commercial value.
- No language that stigmatizes people living with HIV or populations affected by HIV.
Evidence before advocacy
The Center can support equitable access, dignity and human rights while still distinguishing values from empirical claims. Uncertainty is disclosed; negative and null results matter; a compelling mechanism is not presented as a clinical breakthrough.
Responsible research communication
- Registry status does not prove effectiveness.
- Animal or laboratory evidence is never described as a human cure.
- Analytical treatment interruption is explained with its monitoring and ethical safeguards.
- Community participation, geographic diversity and access constraints are treated as scientific concerns, not afterthoughts.
Conflicts, corrections and challenge
Readers may challenge a source choice, interpretation, accessibility barrier or ethical concern. Good-faith criticism is evaluated on evidence and impact, not status or institutional prestige.
