Commitment at a glance

Information the Center does not request
- Names, account profiles or government identifiers.
- HIV status, test results, diagnoses or medical records.
- Sexual history, partner information or exposure narratives.
- Precise location, contacts, advertising identifiers or cross-site browsing history.
- Payment details, because the public site is free.
Browser-only features
Accessibility preferences and saved pages use local browser storage only after you use those features. Onsite search uses the part of the address after the # symbol, which browsers do not send to the web server. These items are not linked to an account and can be removed using the site's controls or your browser settings.
Strictly necessary operation
The hosting and network infrastructure may process short-lived technical request information needed to deliver pages, prevent abuse, diagnose failures and maintain security. The Center does not use that operational data to build health-interest profiles, target advertising or sell visitor data.
External sources open only when you choose a link. Their privacy practices then apply; external links use protections that avoid sending the full referring page where supported.
Children and sensitive information
The site provides general education and does not knowingly collect information from children. Readers should never submit private health or identifying information through a correction, source, accessibility or security message.
Questions or privacy concerns
Use the direct contact control only when necessary. It opens your own email application; the website does not transmit or store the message.
Contact only when necessary
The control below constructs the Foundation address only after your click and opens your own email application. No form, background script or website database receives the message. Do not include private health information.
