Local browser storage
- arc-accessibility: optional display preferences such as larger text or higher contrast.
- arc-saved: page titles and routes the reader chooses to save on that device.
- Search terms: held in the browser's page state and URL fragment, not submitted as a server query.
Control and deletion
Saved resources can be cleared on the Saved Resources page. Accessibility settings can be switched off in the Accessibility menu. Browser storage can also be deleted through the browser's site-data controls.
If the technology changes
A future feature that requires server-side personal data, non-essential cookies or a third-party service must not be introduced silently. Its purpose, necessity, retention and choices must be explained before deployment.
