Commitment at a glance

Recommend the original source and explain its relevance. Inclusion depends on evidence value and transparency, not institutional prestige or promotion.

Preferred information

  • Permanent link, DOI, PMID, trial identifier or official publication page.
  • Source type, publication date and current status.
  • Population, setting and question addressed.
  • Funding, conflicts and correction or retraction status when known.
  • Why the source adds evidence not already represented.

Selection principles

Original research, current authoritative guidance and transparent datasets are preferred. A press release may help locate a source but does not replace it. Product marketing and unsupported promotional claims are not accepted as evidence.
